The six most popular types of siding offer a wide range of styles and choices.

Fiber Cement Siding
Fiber cement siding can be design to look like stucco, brick, or even wood, yet at a much lower cost.
It is one of the most popular choices due to the low-maintenance needed, the flame resistance, and the natural resistance to termites that prefer wood to cement in their diet.

Stucco Siding
Stucco A classic type of siding typically found in Mediterranean homes or ranch style Spanish-mission exteriors, stucco can be a long lasting siding solution that adds a distinctive look to the home.

Composed of sand, cement, lime, and water, stucco is applied on top of a waterproof barrier and metal screen as a base and to protect the walls under it.

Vinyl siding - Vinyl siding is usually a lower cost option and as a result is also a popular choice. Some people may be turned off by the plastic look of many vinyl siding options, however in spite of that it is the most popular siding option in the U.S. Manufacturers have developed strong styles and choices to appeal to many consumer tastes, and as a result of competition, prices are more affordable than other more expensive options.
Wood Siding - For a very traditional look and elegant siding option, wood can be very appealing, and as long as it is maintained, can last for many years. Various types of wood include Western red cedar and redwood, and styles include clapboard or bevel, shakes, and shingles. There is a wide range of choices by manufacturers.
Brick Siding - Modern brick is available in a wide range of sizes and textures. It can provide a distinctive look for a new or older home, and has been typically used with  Colonial, Tudor and English cottage exteriors.

Stone and Stone-Veneer siding -
Stone offers a natural rustic beauty to the siding of a home, and can add a different type of texture and visual appeal that other types of siding. Stone Veneer is the less expensive option yet can provide that "real" look as if real stone was used.
